Sweet Sydney Update

Sydney continues to charm us with her bubbly personality. She really is a good baby! She loves laughing at the dogs and hanging with Dad (and Mom). Below are couple new pics, but the not to miss item of the week is the video clip of Sydney's first time in high chair- be sure to have the volume on! We believe Syd misunderstood the idea of a high chair being for eating....

Looking adorable again during a nap...

A close-up to ensure you get a good sugar-sweet view.

The family minus one. Someone had to snap the pic! I walked in the room and the 4 of them were like this - not posed!

What a difference a week makes! (or construction update #2)

Construction continues...

Here is the foundation with the frames off. You can really see how BIG that hole in the ground is! (Our future next-door neighbors to the left have a hole-in-the-ground now too!)

Danny's dad tests the wall for strength and stability and displays his own...

Framing begins!!

The view from the front left side again -- all that hard work looks buried from here (the garage)!

Construction Update

"Hellllllllllooooooo up there!"

Yep, that's Danny in the hole they dug just a week ago. Notice how long it took him to get up to his neck in dirt! We were blown away today when Danny stopped over for his daily visit to the new house and saw that...ta-da!...They had poured the foundation! Less than a week into construction. What an amazing process!

Here is an upclose view of "our" cement.

Groundbreaking news!

Literally a groundbreaking success!

This morning at precisly 8:00 AM a very skilled backhoe handler started digging the basement of our new home! Danny and I are very excited to finally be getting started on the actual building. We have been busy planning and even making lots of selections already (for example last night we picked all of our lighting). We will post regular updates as the house progresses. We are aimimg to be in the new house by the end of July!

Sydney loves Mickey Mouse

He tastes just like chicken!

New Sydney Pictures and news!

"Yo!"

As I was ever so softly reminded -- I need to update on Sydney ("Its been a MONTH since you posted on Sydney!"). But Danny's right I do! It is good I waited though because yesterday Sydney started rollng from her back to tummy -- and she won't stop. THe problem is that she forgets she knows how to roll back over and gets very angry! I had to get up to flip her over 3 times last night :-)

She is so cute and playing more and more. And "talking" like crazy (I wonder who she got that from? ;-) ) She especially likes to babble at her mommy's red pajamas with dogs on them. She will grab my sleeve and stare at it while happily babbling away.

Thanks to all for the comments on the blog! But keep in mind if I don't already have your e-mail I can't reply through this (if I can someone let me know how!) Anyway here is the good part, more pictures for your viewing pleasure...

Checking out the world...

Playtime

We find her in increasingly weird positions in the mornings.

Napping is so...cute

Team Eggstreme in the windy city!

Last weekend Danny and Guinan (with honary team member Jim - Danny's dad) trekked to Chicago to join several IDDC members in performing at a BIG dog show at the McCormick Center.

They did three days of demos - performing several times each day. The dogs and handlers were all thrilled to get out and do there disc dogging thing and get rid of those winter blahs! They performed for around 2,000 people over the weekend...incredible numbers, and hope to be invited back again next year.

Danny and Guinan were amoung a few of the clubs members who got to be on TV (Chicago's WGN)!

The demo team cleans up nice don't they? (Left to Right: (Top) Mark, Chip, Pat; (Middle) Jim, Sarah, Sharon, Carol, Danny, Christina; (Bottom) Tony, Mary Jo (with Rudy) and Rick) They all had a blast!

What a cool shirt design...I wonder what graphic designer did those.....me!
