Rikers First Ride

With the weather getting so great outside I(Danny) decided that it was time to dust off the bike. Get the tires pumped up, hook up the trailer, and take the kids for a bike ride. I know that Sydney loves to ride, but it is time to find out what Riker thinks of the experience.




It went great. I thought the kids might not get along, being shoulder to shoulder the whole time, but they were great. They loved the ride. In face I kept hearing Sydney giving toys to Riker to keep him happy while they were riding along.

For our little trip I took us to my parents house (5 miles away). When we stopped Grandma took a picture of the 3 of us. Even thought Sydney's face looks like she could eat nails she truly is having fun.




We stuck around at there house for about 30 minutes and during that time Sydney thought that my bike helmet would be really cool to wear, and we found it a bit hilarious.




But as everyone knows if you bike 5 miles from home, you need to bike 5 miles to get back home. So, out to the bike we went, and both kids were actually happy to get back into the trailer, which was great to see.




The trip back was a lot more difficult. It was a very windy day and I had more of the tail wind on the way to my parents house. The wind was so bad Sydney was using a Frisbee that was back in the trailer to block her face from the wind. I was thinking, dude you just have wind in your face I have the drag of the bike, the trailer, 2 kids, and the wind in my face. It was still fun. As we turned down the street to our house I hear Sydney behind me say: "Daddy bike ride is FUN!!"

Gummibear Videos

Thought we would share a little bit about our children. For those of you who haven't been following our blog, we have 2 children (Sydney and Riker). One of them is fairly laid back and the other one is a little bit more on the energetic side. I am not going to say which one is which. I will let the following videos show it.

Premise of the videos. Both kids are sitting on my (Dad's) lap at the computer, watching the Gummibear Music Video on the screen while being video taped by the webcam on the computer. ENJOY!

IDDC Chicago Demo

A couple of weekends ago I(Danny) went to Chicago with my dad and Guinan to do Disc Dog demos with the IDDC for 3 days. It was a great time. We had a great group of people.



We had so much fun. We did 2 shows on Friday and 3 shows on Saturday and Sunday. We did all kinds of things. We even did parts of the show where we would get people out of the crowd. They loved it, and of course so did we!

Probably the most memorable moment of the weekend for me was during one my demos when Guinan.....well....lets just let the video do the talking.



We had to share our field with a group called the Rock N Roll K9's. They were really cool and a lot of fun to watch, but the reason that I bring them up and show you a picture of their MC is because something occurred in nature that no one believed was possible. There MC (Jill), is just as hyper and bubbly as I am! We thought it would be hilarious if they put a Mic on both of us during a performance sometime. I am not sure who would be laughing harder the crowd or us.



When we got home the next day Guinan did not move for a day, Jamie said she only knew she was alive because blinked a bit! I guess we wore her out!
