New Bedroom

We have been living in a world of hand-me-down furniture. We have been extremely grateful for it, but decided that after seven years of marriage it was time to get some new furniture in the bedroom. Here is what we replaced.



Right before Thanksgiving we started shopping around, with no luck at all. We couldn't find what we were looking for in the price range we were looking for it in. We found some wonderful Amish handmade stuff, that was WAY over priced. It was then suggested to us that we drive to Fort Wayne to look at furniture. Boy are we glad we went. The first place we went was Ashley Furniture and as soon as we walked in the door we saw what wanted, and after wandering around the store for an hour we ended up buying that set.

In early December a delivery truck (sort of like Santa!) showed up at our front door (instead of the roof). Bearing big guys (that look sort of like Santa) to carry in our wonderful new furniture.




Then they came in and put it all together. glad they were moving it and not us, it is REALLY heavy.
