Trip to the Aquarium

On Monday, we took a trip to the Shed Aquarium in Chicago. We had a ton of fun. Here are the kids opinions before we even got into the building.

Once inside there were many things to see. The kids were just beside themselves on which fish to look at first. Riker was often heard exclaiming "That a BIG Fish!".

They even were reading up to make sure they new everything about all the fish they were looking at.

Riker really enjoyed being able to get up close and personal and watch them training the Beluga whales.

Later on we stopped for lunch and as you can see mom and dad were "LOSING IT", because they we were having so much fun. (these will be pictures the kids show the shrinks later in life).

You can't make a trip to Chicago without getting a couple cool shots of Chicago itself (no this is not a blue screen shot no matter how much it looks like they are on one!).

Here is mom and the kids in Chicago (after the aquarium we walked a couple miles down Michigan Ave. and back) at a fountain where each of them is pretending to shoot water in there own way.

Overall we had a wild, watery time in beautiful Chicago, Syd was even saying "I LOVE Chicago!"

Looks as if you picked a beautiful day to spend in Chicago. Brings back memories of your family picking up our family at hotel and heading to the zoo for the day in your grandpa's big van. It was so hot I can still see your mom carrying a stack of empty coke glasses from all the drinks we bought to keep cool. Great memories!
