HIghlight of Danny's Life!

As most of you know Danny was the Skyhoundz Disc Dog World Champion in 2006. Shortly after winning he was contacted by his Aunt who knew someone who wrote articles for magazines. She wanted to try and do an article on Guinan and Danny for Highlights magazine. Danny was stoked. He grew up with Highlights and always thought it would be so cool if there was ever a chance of getting into the magazine. So, he conducted a couple of phone interviews with the lady, and did a photo shoot with his dad in the backyard. The article was completed in 2006 and was submitted to Highlights with photos from the photo shoot. A year later we heard that the article was probably excepted, but that they were so far out on articles that it could still be a couple of years. Well, hear we are a couple of years later, and guess what. IT HAPPENED. We received 6 copies of the July 2009 issue of Highlights, and we couldn't believe what we saw when we pulled out the highlights magazine. There was Danny and Guinan on the cover!

Here is a closer view of Danny and Guinan on the Cover.

We thought that it was awesome. We looked inside to see what kind of article there was and we were shocked to find a 2 page article with some HUGE pictures. Very cool.

This is very exciting for Guinan and Danny, we are all very proud of them. We would like to thank a couple of people, Marcia Gabet for writing the article and Jim Eggleston for taking the excellent pictures! And Aunt Marilyn for introducing us to Marcia!
