Pupsicle 2009

This past weekend Jamie and I hosted the first annual Pupsicle (indoor Disc Dog event) in Elkhart, IN in partnership with our club the IDDC (Indy Dog and Disc Club). It was a great time. It was a very full day. Every competitor recieved a very cool Long sleeve T-Shirt that Jamie is modeling here (and guess who designed it?).



We had a GREAT group of people who came to compete and help run the event. We thought a group picture for the first annual Pupsicle was in order.




During the competition Christina Curtis and I did a pairs demo. We were a little out of practice, but we had a lot of fun.


But the highlight for both of us for the whole day was Sydney competing in her first Disc Dog Event in the Junior division. It wasn't planned to happen -- kind of a last minute thing so there would be more than one kid entered. And it ended up being the cutest Juniors round ever--- two adorable 2 year old girls! We think there will be a 2nd Annual Pupsicle next winter -- be sure to come enter or watch -- it was a lot of fun for everyone. Thanks again to all who made it this time around!
