Sydney's Preschool Christmas Program

Sydney had her first ever Christmas program at preschool this past week. She was very excited about it. Before the festivities started we took some pictures. She was such a ham. She even went a joined another family to try and get in on their family pictures!




The program was about 20 minutes long and was very cute. At one point in the program they told all the kids to wave to their parents and say hi (to get the "Hi Moms" out), and of course Sydney would not disappoint.



But to get a real feel for the program you need to see some of the video of what happened and decide for yourself who stole the show. Watch and enjoy and don't be afraid to laugh - we did...LOUDLY.



Yes that is our daughter, wasn't she wonderful!! We are still giggling....

Rikers First Trip to the Dentist

Riker is growing up, and growing up means going to see the doctor. The doctor this time was the dentist. It was time for Riker's first chair ride! Hoping for the best and expecting the worst we took him in...

Waiting to go in to see the dentist Riker wasn't too nervous. In fact he was having a blast playing.



We took him in and got him the dentist chair. He loved the way it moved up and down and laid back and sat up. So far so good!



The hygienist(Hi Carrie!) tries to make the experience all kinds of fun. She had a "teeth tickler" and and a "teeth counter" to use in Riker's mouth. He thought those were ok, but the sunglasses and the water sucker "Mr Thirsty" were the bomb.



So overall he was a very happy customer, and we were very, very proud parents. He did a rocking awesome job! He loved it!
