A house without a breeze!
The house is moving right along now. As you can tell below, they installed windows!
They did a great job. The house looked really good after the windows were all installed. More like a real home every day!
Sydney and I decided to hide out in what would someday become the fireplace, right now it is a bit cooler and more spacious than it will be later.
Danny did another walk through on the house to give everyone a tour. Here are the 3 YouTube videos he put together to make everyone feel like they have been to the house, ENJOY!

Tractor Supply Company Disc Dog Demo
Danny and Guinan came out again to show off their great abilities. This time they were at the Tractor Supply Company in Niles, MI doing a demo in the parking lot. Here is what was on the sign out front:
The demos went very well, in fact I am not sure if Guinan thought she was a dog or a scared cat. If that doesn't make sense look at the picture below and you tell me!
And of course a demo is not complete without Danny looking like he is going to fall on his butt while making a throw.

House Update or "Walls, roof and rafters oh my!"
Over the last week the house has changes DRASTICALLY! Walls, roof and rafters(not necessarily in that order) were nearly completed. Unfortunately we were out of state part of the week and missed the rafters going up...bummer.
Danny checking out the upstairs, before all the walls went up!
Front view of the house, really looking cool now!
Look at all the rafters above the master suite -- we call it our spagetti mess.
Looking up at the second floor.
Sydney sporting her Grandpa Egg's painting cap. He was helping get our house ready to sell by painting a couple rooms for us -- THANK YOU!

Jamie's first NBA game
Thank you JP! JP is Danny's boss's boss's boss. While Danny was working in Atlanta JP offered us his NBA basketball tickets for the night (tuesday) since the local team, the Atlanta Hawks, were playing the Indianapolis Pacers. Danny checked with me and I said sure lets go! Those of you who know me know I am not a big sports fan -- but I know things are more fun in person so why pass up the opportunity.
IT WAS SO COOL! We walked around the whole stadium trying to find the gate to our seats and when we finally saw it we both looked at eachother with a big "No way!" on our faces. The seats we were given tickets to were in the "Club" section. It had a special area with 5-7 of its own resturants -- including some of Atlanta's finest. There was a wheel we each got to spin to win prizes (we won a t-shirt and 2 free drinks). And if you wanted food you could order it from your seat and someone would get in for you. The area also had its own restrooms...very nice for changing diapers. Sydney enjoyed all the people and only got fussy after her bedtime.
Our seats were only 5 rows back (not counting floor seats). The game was pretty good and I really enjoyed the extras (drumline, dancers, a live hawk, the mascot and the halftime show) I would say it was a great first NBA game for me (and of course it was Sydney's first too)!
The staff took our picture as we came in -- you can download it for free-- I thought that was very nice of them!
Danny and Syd play with the Thunder Sticks. Syd kept trying to eat them.
We sat in the little yellow circled area-- not bad at all!!
Disc Dog / Work trip to Atlanta Georgia
Hey everybody!
Due to some quick thinking by Danny we were able to combine a business trip, a disc dog tournament and a little vacation all into one! The family (minus Frodo because only competing dogs were allowed at the disc dog event) had their first big road trip together. Now we had heard many horror stories about traveling with a baby, and it does have its challenges (such as diaper blow-outs in the car seat...) but overall Sydney was a super-star. We made the trip to Atlanta in just a little over 11 hours! The way back was 12.5 and that includes the aforementioned diaper blow-out and stopping for lunch!
While in Atlanta Danny worked friday, monday and tuesday. On saturday and sunday we were at a disc dog tourney (Danny and Guinan took third in Toss and Fetch and Qualified for the USDDN World Finals in Louisville in November.) While Danny worked Sydney and I hung out at the hotel, went shopping, visited Sydney's first art musuem (where she quickly discovered her voice echoed, thankfully it was happy baby-talk) and generally charmed all the locals.
Below are some pictures and videos from our trip (prepare yourself for these folks-- Syd enjoyed being outside and it shows!):
Danny and Guinan's first freestyle routine of the year.
Syndey and Guinan pass the time together in the hotel on Sydney's Half Birthday. Yep, she is already six months old!
Warm babies are a natural sedative.
Did we mention she has two teeth already?!
But she hasn't crawled (forward) yet...
More cuteness...

Construction! Now with movin' pictures!
Things are moving right along now... as you can tell, there are walls on our house!
This will be the ONLY time l ever get a picture taken of me in the shower (how humiliating).
This is our kitchen area. The part you seeing sticking out is part of the dining area.
Here is where we will spend most of our time. The master bedroom. Sleeping takes a lot of time.
Here is the house as of Thursday April 5th. As you can they are starting to work on the second floor.
DOn't miss the movin' picture show!
Walk-through tours of the house, with your tour guide - Danny Ray...
Now Danny couldn't leave well-enough alone and had to be a monkey. Here is a video showing where he went:
